In August, I attended the Florida League of Cities annual conference in Hollywood, FL, where the keynote speaker was Lt. General Russel Honoré, the commanding general of Joint Task Force Katrina. Lt. Honoré spoke on Leadership and Preparedness in the 21st Century.
Throughout the weekend, many workshops were held to share ideas and tools to meet the challenges cities face during these tough economic times.
